Job Description

We are looking for a PM Lead candidate in Raleigh, NC to be responsible for delivery of project and move management scope of service on a corporate account. The role will manage individual contributors and managers with direct accountability to the development and oversight of the 10-15 project and move management FTEs. This team manages roughly $50MM in capital projects, delivers >1,000 moves and executes ~1,000 work orders per year for our client. The role will report to the JLL PDS Lead / Director of Projects for the account.


Project & Move Management

  • Responsible for operational excellence within Project Management service delivery within assigned region, including but not limited to the team's ability to exceed client's KPIs, adherence to client process/deliverables and training.
  • Responsible for operational excellence within Move Management service delivery within assigned region, including but not limited to the team's ability to exceed client's KPIs, adherence to client process/deliverables and training.
  • Ensure team's use of JLL technology as required for assigned projects.

Client Management

  • Create a climate of trust with local and enterprise clients such that issues can be shared and mutually resolved.
  • Identify and address areas of concern regarding potential liabilities and risk (fee, our reputation, errors and omissions, etc.) to Account Management.
  • Participate in regional leadership meetings and provide regular health of region reporting to JLL and Client leadership via Business Intelligence dashboards.
  • Assist in the establishment, import and refinement of best practices to drive operational excellence.

Account Management

  • Manage Account specific growth initiatives to improve performance and lay foundation for account retention. 
  • Support annual Capital Planning cycle through resource review, project validation and estimates.
  • Actively manage resource loading of dedicated team and use of non-dedicated resources to fulfill project deliverables.
  • Network and negotiate with internal JLL partners for variable support.

Team Management

  • Lead with a open and collaborative mindset to drive empowerment throughout team.
  • Ensure dedicated staff are working to develop professional skills in support of their career ambitions.
  • Ensure dedicated staff workload is prioritized and appropriate.
  • Ensure dedicated staff are appropriately trained on project expectations.
    Hold team accountable to JLL and client expectations through regular touch points.
  • Comply with all JLL policies and procedures, including but not limited to ethics and business practice.

Skills and Knowledge

  • 15+ years of practical project / construction experience.
  • Successful track record of delivering superior performance in a leadership role.
  • Bachelor Degree from an accredited institution in Accounting, Business, Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
  • Previous experience effectively supervising, training, mentoring and evaluating staff at various levels within the organization/team.
  • Proven success in complex virtual working environment with preference given to experience as Owner's Representative.
  • Repeatable success at presenting complex material to Clients up and down the org chart.
  • A curious and collaborative mindset focused on creating steps to meet a long term vision.
