Sr. Finance Manager


We are currently seeking a Senior Finance Manager to join our client accounting team in Atlanta, GA. This role blends on-site presence at the client headquarters, presently in Mid Town Atlanta as well as home office.

 
OVERVIEW
This role will be responsible for coordinating, facilitating and executing accounting and financial planning processes, monitoring financial performance, reporting financial and operational results, and improving financial systems for the Americas. This candidate will work closely with Americas Leadership and have exposure to international finance and operations leaders as well.

 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Coordinate the annual forecasting process and target setting process for the Americas region 
  • Continually enhance, improve and streamline the budgeting / forecasting process
  • Monthly and quarterly dashboard reporting: consolidation and strategic analysis of Region financial and operating performance, including trends, business drivers, and variance analysis
  • Serve as liaison and partner to Global Finance, Corporate Solutions, Markets Solutions, and Latin America Finance teams
  • Coordinate and execute monthly and quarterly close and reporting processes, ensuring all invoices, accruals, accounting entries are complete and timely
  • Ensure harmonization across ERP, budgeting and global consolidation systems
  • Drive improvements in reporting, analytics and dashboards to support business leadership decision making and implement best practices related to various ad hoc analyses
  • Special projects with a focus on operational efficiency, long-range financial planning, and systems upgrade & implementation
  • Team management, oversight and development of 2 to 3 direct reports ensuring Accounts Payable, Banking and Cash Management functions are completed timely and accurately.
  • Ownership of Americas Financial Reporting and Management in both JLL and Client settings.

 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA and/or CPA, a plus
  • 8+ years of progressively responsible related experience
  • Enterprise Financial System experience a must - PeopleSoft and Hyperion experience, strongly desired

 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Strong communication and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail but can also see the “big picture”
  • Proven skill set in people and team management and development.
  • High comfort level with executive-level professionals
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently and excel in a fast paced, customer service oriented environment
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
