Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Project manage the delivery of a number of client projects, ensuring a professional relationship and the effective delivery of sustainability services to investor clients, including:
    • Co-ordinate assessments and certifications (with Surveyors and Facility Manager networks and framework contractors), including:
      • EPCs and minimum energy performance standards
      • ESOS audits
      • Voluntary certificates: BREEAM, DECs
    • Quarterly Sustainability Reports at fund and asset level – directing input from Surveyors and Facility Manager networks
    • Overseeing delivery of data analysis and reports to ensure data accuracy and identify actions and next steps.
    • Co-ordinate and maintain annual sustainability action plan lists for all relevant properties
    • Provide client with complete and accurate datasets for purposes of disclosing to:
      • GRESB
      • CRC
      • Others including: CDP, BBP REEB, UNPRI
  • Manage the collection, validation and communication of client sustainability data, case studies and award submissions
  • Close liaison with PAM Procurement Team and PAM Head of Engineering to meet programme needs
  • Effective organisation of, and minute-taking at, key client and internal meetings
  • Supporting the professional development of junior colleagues, including potential line management opportunities

Role requirements and experience

Essential

  • Minimum of three years’ relevant work experience in the sustainability, consultancy and/or property sector
  • Excellent project management, communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to co-ordinate projects that require input from large numbers of client, colleague and supplier staff
  • Highly advanced information system skills; in particular Excel, Word and PowerPoint, with complimentary use of face to face, telephone and email mediums of communication
  • Demonstrate a strong ability to analyse complex quantitative and qualitative sustainability data, draw robust conclusions and report these accurately and meaningfully
  • Excellent team-working, and ability to contribute towards a positive team dynamic
  • Ability to manage ebb and flow of client requests through efficient daily communication
  • Ability to manage client expectation on agreed scopes of work

Desirable

  • Experience project managing projects with multiple parties with many links in supply chain.
  • Advanced Excel skills, in particular: structuring data tables and linking data tables (lookups), maintaining spreadsheets and flat databases, pivoting for summaries
  • Knowledge of voluntary and mandatory schemes and certifications and questionnaires (in particular those named under Responsibilities)
  • Reasonable and growing understanding of sustainability and how buildings are operated
