Job Description

We are currently seeking a Senior Analyst to join our Capital Markets Group working in our Atlanta, Georgia office. Our Capital Markets Group integrates real estate and corporate finance acumen with worldwide capital markets reach to serve the needs of owners and users of real estate across all product types.  This group provides expertise and transactional skills in assignments involving investment sales of assets and portfolios, and other complex real estate based assignments.
This individual will provide support to a team of regional transaction managers on a multi-state land disposition project.  The client is a large Timberland Real Estate Investment Trust for whom JLL manages a rural land sales program.    
Essential Functions

  • Direct client interface,
  • Managing a network of third-party brokers,
  • Coordinating property information,
  • Valuation reviews, 
  • Marketing material creation,
  • Analyzing data and producing monthly and ad-hoc reporting,
  • Facilitating negotiation discussions,
  • Tracking properties through the sales process,
  • Producing/reviewing sales contracts.

Education and experience                                              

  • Business degree from a four year accredited university
  • Committed interest in real estate
  • At least 3 years of related work experience
  • Strong financial/analytical skills
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter and team player
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Intellectual curiosity and experience using Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Interest and experience in rural markets or the timber industry would benefit the candidate

The hired individual will work in JLL’s Atlanta office on a regular business schedule.  Occasional extended business hours and weekend work may be required.  Travel, including air travel, is required and may occur as often as 5-8 business days per month.
