Our Integrated Portfolio Services (IPS) business supports JLL brokerage professionals in leveraging their strong, local relationships along with the JLL platform to win centrally-managed, multi-market, multi-service line pursuits.  Our clients rely on JLL to develop portfolio strategies, execute transactions, manage facilities, oversee construction projects, execute and administer leases and provide advice on how best to manage their diverse portfolios. The IPS team provides pursuit strategy and support to our brokers in order to deliver market-leading solutions to JLL’s local, regional and global portfolio clients.

The IPS business is looking to expand its national team with a dynamic, future-ready Sales Leader.  This transformational Leader can successfully lead a team through our multi-disciplinary sales process from opportunity to the win.  He/she has a proven track record developing effective sales strategies---from identifying the need to developing client-centric solutions and pricing.  The sales leader will be digitally savvy and can effectively articulate and sell futuristic technology and tools that are changing the landscape of the real estate industry.  Our leader could reside in any of the following cities:  Seattle, Portland, Atlanta, and/or San Francisco Bay Area.

Key responsibilities for the Sales Leader include:

  • Lead business development, client development, and client relationship management for the IPS Business Lines
  • Develop effective sales strategies, from identifying the client needs, aligning to pain points, and determining appropriate solutions and pricing. 
  • Understand and clearly communicate how our products and service offerings can solve client needs of today and in the future; including our digital products
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the competitive environment and understand how workplace trends and technology are changing the needs and demands of our clients
  • Support JLL brokerage professionals in the market to source and win IPS business 
  • Generate multi-service business opportunities with Brokers nationally across various Markets
  • Coordinate activities related to a pursuit, including the coordination of cross-business line resources to create proposals, presentations and RFP materials
  • Educate and train brokerage professionals on JLL’s service offerings and how to leverage JLL’s global platform and differentiators
  • Lead local and national new business pursuits for the IPS Businesses and the Corporate Solutions leadership teams
  • Act as an effective Player Coach to a team of 6-7 professionals
  • Facilitate the successful transition of new accounts

We are looking for future-ready Sales Leaders with the following backgrounds and skill sets:

  • 15+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Dynamic leader who can easily establish credibility and can build trust and rapport during the sales process
  • Thought-leadership in the technology and digital space
  • Demonstrated future-ready change agent
  • Has an established presence in the market and proven credibility within the Brokerage community
  • Proven expertise in creating and managing multi-service level offerings to clients
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the understanding of how to leverage these in the internal and external sales process
  • Well-respected leader with demonstrated ability to quickly gain the trust of others
  • Results-oriented, strategic thinker, political astuteness, innovative and dynamic
  • Proven and passionate new business development ability with a track record of success
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong internal team relationships resulting in outstanding results, delighted clients, and impeccable references for future clients
  • Extremely organized and capable of managing multiple initiatives with minimal direction
  • High energy level, thrives in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
  • Track record of exceptional performance demonstrated by beating success metrics and accelerated career advancement
  • Evidence of efforts to expand industry knowledge and business acumen by leveraging external committees and organizations
  • Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to deliver compelling stories for the win
  • Relates well to all levels; establishes confidence and trust; well-respected
  • MBA or MCR preferred
  • Ability and keen interest in working effectively in a matrix organization
