Job Description

We are expanding our People and Process Consulting practice in the Chicagoland area and are seeking Associates and Sr. Associates to join our team.


Our People & Process consulting practice advises JLL account managers and senior CRE managers in excellence, organization development, sustainability, and employee engagement/productivity. We develop analyses, business cases, playbooks, strategic plans, organization charts, and process improvement initiatives. This role offers variety because we are always working to improve our service delivery agility as well as selling skills and our team has the opportunity to experience different clients, different industries, and different problems


Our Sr. Associate supports the development and implementation of workplace, portfolio, and CRE organizational strategies within our client’s organizations. You will enhance and expand our existing strategies expertise and capabilities through the development of new tools, techniques, and processes. You will work with other facets of JLL to facilitate cross discipline marketing and service delivery.  You will help target clients and proactively promote services. You will participate in the creation and/or maintenance of workplace, portfolio strategies/programs, energy and sustainability, and people strategies at one or multiple client locations.  You will enhance existing programs to meet client business objectives that may include reducing occupancy costs, attracting/retaining employees, improving employee productivity, etc.


Our Sr. Associate will develop enterprise and line of business strategies, recommendations, and drive implementation for our clients in the following areas:

  • Workplace Strategy
  • Portfolio Strategy
  • Corporate Real Estate Organizational Strategy
  • Six Sigma Process Design and Improvement
  • Corporate Real Estate Functional Assessments 
  • Corporate Real Estate Governance
  • Client Relationship Management
  • Performance Management Program Implementation

What this job involves:

Workplace Change Management Project Support

  • Support new and existing workplace transformation initiatives and ensure that they meet stated objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage
  • Develop change management programs to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization and greater proficiency of the changes that impact employees

  • Execute the change management project plan in collaboration with other teams
  • Monitor implementation timelines and activities, escalating risk and resistance and preparing risk mitigation tactics
  • Assist the project implementation and communications teams in the development of change management communication and training content
  • Maintain change management resources, including presentation decks, implementation tools and resources
  • Partner with the other teams to ensure consistency in the workplace experience and delivery
  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Design or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in change management principles, methodologies and tools
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop conclusions and recommendations
  • Ability to multi-task and work both in a team and independently within a high pressure, deadline driven environment
  • Ability to manage multiple and complex matters on a daily basis as well to develop solutions for  complex problems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal relationship skills
  • Position requires candidate to be on-site in a North Chicago location.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in presenting to senior leaders
  • Experience with large-scale, phased workplace change efforts

  • B.A./B.S in Architecture, Design, Real Estate or associated field.  MBA highly desirable
  • 1-3 years relevant change management experience
