Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Primary responsibility is to serve as a single point of contact for engineering and project management services. Specific areas of responsibility include but are not limited to vendor management, customer satisfaction, productivity, project efficiency, building condition assessments and cost savings.
•• Preparation of detailed budgets for projects, upgrades, and engineering services
• Provides contract compliance management and quality control
• Provides leadership, with input on selection; recommending improvements to properties, obtaining quotes and bids for capital projects and gathering asset and building condition data.
• Develop and deliver training methods, materials and programs relative to building operating standards.
• Understands the engineering design and operational aspects of building systems and equipment.
• Manage operations, maintenance and capital improvements of all Life Safety, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Security and Elevator systems.
• Work with FM, Sourcing and Financial team to provide superior service to client while assisting in meeting goals.
• Assist with FM and Safety Manager on safety projects, obtaining information, work with vendors to improve safety at all sites.
• Coordinate activities of vendors and contractors.
• Maintain client relationships and mitigate conflict.

Skills/Qualifications:
• BA/BS in in Engineering, related discipline or equivalent facilities experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems, data center, UPS, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, etc.
• 10+ years of facilities engineering and operations experience, required.
• Strong supervisory skills with the ability to coach, mentor and train.
• Business acumen including financial planning and analysis must be able to manage within budget and time constraints.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation and presentation ability.
• Superior customer service, relationship building and follow up skills.
• Computer proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) required.
