Summary:


JLL is seeking to hire a Move Manager to provide move support for a Fortune 500 Client. The Move Manager will provide support for moves in the following areas: furniture and accessories, computer components, etc. The Move Manager must have excellent organizational skills. He or she must be detailed-oriented with the ability to prioritize competing tasks and manage differing needs of the business.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage move-add-change services for multi-locations.
  • Ensure all project documentation is maintained on client or Move Management SharePoint site.
  • Assist with the move project plan and budget through collaboration with the move manager, facility manager, project manager and construction manager as required.
  • Incorporate “best practices” into move projects.
  • Ensure move processes are managed in accordance with the Client’s and JLL’s policies and procedures.
  • Procure and manage move labor.
  • Manage supporting suppliers (technology, telephony, furniture, etc.)
  • Perform data input into the CAFM system to maintain occupancy information.
  • Work order and small project management, including but not limited to furniture reconfigurations and space enhancements.
  • Use tools to assemble and disassemble furniture.
  • Review work tickets several times a day, prioritizing critical requests.
  • Identify and recognize potential problems, escalating to Sr. Move Managers and leadership as needed.
  • Identify methods to improve service delivery to customers.
  • Comply with all JLL policies and procedures, including but not limited to time & expenses, ethics and business practice.

Client Facing Responsibilities:

  • Participate in planning meetings hosted by the client, move management, occupancy planning and other key stakeholders.
  • Initiate meetings to review move schedules with move vendors and key stakeholders.
  • Receive and process client move requests.
  • Review furniture recommendations to ensure that all installs meet the customer requirements and comply with established safety policies.
  • As required, work directly with the customer to troubleshoot any furniture, IT or ergonomic issues.
  • Report discrepancies and safety concerns.


Education and Experience:

  • 1 - 3 years of applicable experience or 2 years as facility coordinator, move coordinator, or similar/related role in a Corporate Real Estate environment.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Familiarity with architectural drawings and furniture and space planning concepts.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and ability to use MS Office suite of technologies.
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task while working both in a team and independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with executive level internal & external clients.
  • A flexible and adaptable self-starter with strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete tasks with little to no supervision.
  • Ability to work with a team or independently.
  • Knowledge of basic computer and telephone set-up and disconnect.

Physical Work Requirements and Work Conditions:

  • Must be able to work outside of normal business hours, walk long distances, lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time.
