This position will be responsible for the strategy, development, and delivery of sustainability training globally.  Sustainability at JLL spans issue areas related to environmental, social and governance. The position will play a key role in rolling out new eLearning and reinvigorating existing training programs.  This will ensure JLL meets its sustainability targets by educating members of core business units and enthusiastic staff around the world.   

As a complementary component, the position will oversee and refine knowledge management practices for sustainability information globally. The aim will be to better share best practices, research and case studies so that our colleagues are better equipped to take sustainability action.

What this job involves:

  • Coordinate with sustainability experts and third-party providers to create, implement and maintain sustainability e-learning. This could entail bringing static content to life, using gamification, sourcing graphics and measuring success of eLearning
  • Determine and implement emerging training and technology trends that improve delivery of offerings and troubleshoot day to day training problems
  • Refine globally sustainability training and knowledge management strategies
  • Refresh and deliver educational component for JLL’s sustainability program globally including regular webinars, virtual lunch sessions and intranet site
  • Manage and present sustainability knowledge in an innovative, creative and engaging way, on an up-to-date platform; refine and house within SharePoint
  • Support efforts to immerse JLL senior leaders in a research-based, multiple day sustainability training
  • Manage training and knowledge management budget
  • Collaborate with Human Resources to incorporate eLearning in JLL’s MyDevelopment system and on-boarding processes
  • Make connections and join community of Sustainability, Knowledge Management and Training colleagues at JLL that improve job performance and satisfaction

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Training and Development
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Knowledge Management role
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; advanced degrees (Master or above) is preferred
  • Learning Management System Administration experience (CornerStone OnDemand, 1-2 years of experience preferred)
  • Formal training in instructional design for both e-learning and classroom/in-person training
  • E-learning and video software proficiency (e.g. Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate)
  • Understanding of SharePoint (prefer SharePoint online & Office365) and/ or other content management solutions
  • Experience with Virtual technologies (WebEx, Adobe Connect); Visual design (Photoshop); Audio production
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage priorities
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with an ability to interact with executive level internal clients
  • Proven global teammate who must be able to juggle multiple projects, to work across time zones and to use own initiative without close supervision
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of / passion for sustainability a plus
  • Understanding of real estate industry a plus
