Job Description

Sales Enablement is a vital function to the success of the overall business. The Sales Content Manager drives the technical design, development and evolution of the global sales asset management (SAM) platform in partnership with other sales enablement colleagues and the sales and marketing teams. In addition, this position is responsible for managing vendor relationships, resources and budgeting/cost optimization regarding the cost (internal and external) of the platform. This leader will work closely with the Manager of Sales Communications and Training and IT to prioritize initiatives and resource (people/cost optimization) opportunities to achieve maximum ROI for JLL.



What this job involves:

Technology management

  • Design and implement the sales asset management platform globally in partnership with IT, vendor(s), global and regional marketing and sales teams.
  • Develop processes for user feedback (help desk, enhancements, issue management, escalation responsibility)
  • Set up new hire and exit hire processes to ensure maximum leverage of license fees.
  • Lead User Acceptance strategy and execution for each release and execute recommendations based on feedback
  • Lead execution of Americas, EMEA and APAC User Acceptance and full onboarding working cross functionally.

Content

  • Ensure tight alignment with content team on process development and management to deliver efficiencies in content production (eliminate waste and rework).
  • Work closely with the content team to develop governance process for sales content and clearly defined roles & responsibilities to ensure ongoing effectiveness (governance process, posting rules, refresh & accuracy, clean up.)
  • Develop feedback mechanism and scorecard to share with marketing (content, field and product marketing) and highlight sales asset opportunities based on analytics and field input
  • Implement tagging architecture with the sales asset management platform

Sales enablement

  • Benchmark other organizations to ensure sales enablement technology best practices – participate in user groups, etc.

Sound like you? Before applying it's worth knowing what we're looking for:

  • BS/BA Required. Masters or MBA degree desirable.
  • Five to 7 years of sales/ sales enablement experience with global B2B organization.
  • Deep experience with CRM and sales enablement platforms (design/ execution/ optimization) as well as developing best in class acceleration opportunities. Experience with sales asset management platforms is required. Experience with Siesmic is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience working closely with IT and vendors to meet complex technology implementation initiatives while ensuring the solution meets the client/ stakeholder needs.
  • IT project management experience, including the rollout of sales and marketing technology using change management and continuous improvement strategies.
  • Vendor management and cost optimization
  • Ability to set up system sandbox prior to implementation by developing QA processes, data integrity strategies, scorecards and rigor around project management.

Skills

  • A passion for the profession of sales. Familiarity with the Miller-Heiman sales methodology is a plus.
  • Creative thinking, problem solving and the ability to innovate. Desire for continuous improvement and process orientation.
  • Ability to navigate culture and politics across multiple functions and create winning solutions through influence. Able to identify and use resources outside direct reporting structure.
  • Demonstrated examples of how technical aptitude and business understanding solved complex sales and marketing challenges and opportunities.
  • Financial management, vendor management and budget optimization
  • Understanding of content marketing best practices and their applicability in sales enablement

Keen desire and aptitude to stay on top of changing technology landscape and how that can be leveraged for sales and marketing priorities.
