Job Description

Brokerage Operations Manager

Responsible for partnering with senior brokerage leadership in the market by providing timely and accurate revenue projection reports at the market, business unit and brokerage level.

Document processes and schedule for completing monthly, quarterly and annual reports to meet job responsibilities as outlined.

Dealio (unless specified, includes Tenant Rep, Agency and Industrial brokers\transactions)

  • Ensure Dealio is current
    • Focus on deals set to close for the current month as well as any large dollar transactions
    • Process all WIP updates in Dealio by business day 20th of the month.
  • Review Deferred Log and verify with brokers when contingencies are coming due
    • $0 - $250k: Broker confirmation
    • $250k +: Third party confirmation
    • Update Dealio with deferred information
    • Communicate with Controller when revenue is ready to be recognized.
  • Review transactions for appropriate documentation (“complete” deal file) and move to “Ready for Accounting”
  • Review Accounts Receivable report daily. Communicate recommended maintenance\adjustments to the finance team.
  • Provide AR commentary monthly for Corporate review as well as leadership dashboard reporting.
  • Update brokerage leadership as needed regarding revenue projections, including but not limited to detailed and summary monthly WIP reports, business unit pipeline reports and “Need to Achieve” reporting.
  • Assist Controller with revenue projections by broker for annual budget process and quarterly reforecasts.
  • Review and approve expense reports for Tenant Rep brokers.
