Job Description

The candidate will work with the Corporate Solutions Industry management teams to understand the market, competitive landscape and opportunity.  He/she is responsible for planning, executing and measuring a range of multi-touch marketing programs for industry accounts (Life Sciences, Healthcare, Food & Beverage, Public Institutions and Higher Education).  The candidate will work closely with the Industry Business Line Lead, Sales Leads as well as the Account Directors to develop targeted marketing strategies that help expand business at existing clients, break into new target clients and also grow our presence at the account level where appropriate.  

Key activities include industry and account intelligence gathering, execution of an account based marketing program, demand creation and brand awareness. The role requires deep subject matter expertise in Account Based Marketing, the industries in scope and the tools and processes used to enable delivery at scale.


What this job involves:


Account Based Marketing

  • Understand and analyze the account portfolio, including how to prioritize and group accounts according to opportunity, buyer need, persona, industry, buying cycle stage and propensity to buy
  • Oversee offer creation and determine the optimal tactic mix for accounts
  • Work with functions in sales and marketing to define and establish workflows (e.g. campaign personalization and execution, lead hand-offs)
  • Partner with operations to provide data and ongoing insight into named accounts from internal and external sources to drive relevance and timely execution
  • Execute marketing programs on behalf of sales, and show reps how to execute program elements on their own
  • Determine which marketing campaigns and assets to leverage for named-account engagement planning
  • Partner with marketing operations to establish, forecast and report against key success metrics
  • Serve as key strategic marketing contact for key business leaders within the Life Sciences, Healthcare and Food & Beverage Industries.
  • Manage and adhere to budget allocation
  • Contribute to marketing planning and lead sales driven, industry ABM program to promote sales growth
  • Work with the centralized marketing team and Industry Business Line Lead to develop and execute client and prospect engagement events
  • Work closely with colleagues in the geographic marketing roles to apply best practices and identify opportunities for scale
  • Collaborate closely with the local markets teams across the geographic areas to jointly develop programs, where applicable

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or related field
  • 5+ years of b-to-b marketing experience
  • Understanding of campaign management and demand creation processes
  • Insight gathering and analysis from multiple internal and external data sources (e.g. data providers, social analysis, engagement scores)
  • Proven experience working with multiple marketing and sales functions to deliver superior results
  • Experience in executing industry account based marketing strategies
  • Proficiency with MAPs and SFA systems – including the ability to orchestrate, customize and execute campaigns and to use dashboards to track and measure performance. Dynamics and Eloqua experience a plus.
  • Highly driven and self-motivated to deliver results
  • Strong executive presence and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated success and passion for collecting and using qualitative and quantitative insights to drive marketing decisions
  • Proven ability to participate in and influence cross-functional teams
  • Strong project management skills to prioritize high impact activities and keep complicated projects moving forward
  • Budget management skills
  • Demonstrated creative skills (e.g. written and/or design skills) to drive personalization and relevance
  • Strong technical literacy, including MAPs and SFA systems, technical procurement, business case creation and user needs analysis
  • Proficiency with MAPs and SFA systems – including the ability to orchestrate, customize and execute campaigns and to use dashboards to track and measure performance
