HRIS Demand Management Manager

We are currently seeking a Demand Management Manager to join our dynamic Global HR Team. This is a virtual role within the continental US. As our Demand Management Manager you will be responsible for managing the HRIS demand pipeline. You will act as the primary contact for identifying and capturing requests and ensuring the HRIS function is able to provide sufficient support to the business with agreed timeframes, liaising with global IT for more technical expertise as required.


  • Govern and manage the demand pipeline from HR or the business, ensuring requests are consistently captured, estimated and prioritised at a global level
  • Collaborate and advise the global and regional HR leadership and SMEs, including the change board about suitable HR technology resolution and optimization solutions – evaluating the risk and benefit of process and technology changes
  • Create and manage a capacity and demand plan to monitor trends and forecast risks
  • Liaise with the Global IT Leadership (TDIM) teams to ensure appropriate service levels to HRIS and wider HR
  • Liaising with the IT helpdesk (TSC) and HR Shared Services to manage and oversea change requests on a monthly basis to shape demand planning
  • Analyse and resolve demand related issues in a timely manner, escalating to the Global HRIS Director as appropriate
  • Be an advocate for common standardisation across JLL for technology solutions and processes, collaborating with regional teams to maximise alignment and ensure appropriate controls and governance are effective
  • Create and maintain a resourcing dashboard to monitor the HRIS team’s overall capacity and ensure appropriate resources are available to deliver against business demand
  • Ensure a consistent approach to capacity planning and resource management is adopted across regions
  • Develop key performance indicators for demand management and agree regular reporting to create transparency and tracking of progress against requests
  • Monitor overall HRIS team performance and regional team performance against agreed key performance indicators for demand management
  • Attend all relevant HRIS leadership meetings to report on progress and shape future initiatives around demand management
  • Provide oversight and support to regional HRIS Leads with the performance evaluation of team members and ongoing training and recruitment activities

Required skills & experience

  • Significant experience working within an HR IT team, preferably through periods of transformation and new system and process implementation
  • Strong understanding of the IT infrastructure landscape, including SaaS systems and the interaction points between IT and HRIS
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with all levels of employees and proven track record to influence senior leadership
  • Significant knowledge of demand planning approaches and experience managing complex requests
  • Risk management skills, with the ability to analyse, anticipate and balance risks and responses
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to multitask and prioritise
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with HR, IT and the business to understand requests and facilitate resolution
  • Strong understanding of the interaction points between IT, HR IS, HR Shared Services and the business
  • Ability to travel globally

Essential qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, IT or a related discipline
  • 3+ years working in a similar demand management role with proven experience creating and maintaining demand management plans
  • Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite, advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Knowledge of Workday and other global HR cloud based systems
  • Fluency in English; other languages desirable
  • Experience leading and working with virtual, international and cross cultural teams
  • Experience in real estate, preferred
