Job Description

Working with the ATX Workplace Experience team to create the best workplace in the world.

 

This role will play a fundamental role in creating and delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring that all customers and visitors are assisted accordingly in a warm, professional and friendly manner.

The role will assist and support the Atlassian Workplace Experience team to ensure that they deliver the very best service and services at all times, and assist in the management of the workplace accordingly.

 

DAY TO DAY DUTIES:

  • Contribute to creating a customer focused environment consistent with Atlassian values and the WE team’s secret sauce “How WE Roll”

  • Demonstrate continuous effort to improve service delivery and customer service levels

  • Work cooperatively and jointly with internal (departments) and external (vendors) contacts to provide quality customer service to staff

  • Responsible for planning and managing guest services in the ATX office

 

Guest Services covers the following areas:

  • Reception/Visitor management

  • Forwarding e-Phone voicemails

  • Mail and couriers

  • Security/Access cards

  • Office Supply and business card orders

  • Visiting Atlassians

  • Manage the end to end Kudos program for the ATX office

  • Look after the swag ie. t-shirts, new starter packs, stickers

  • All catering for meetings/small scale events

  • Answering confluence questions from staff

  • Liaising with Building management for both buildings on basic FM tasks/tickets ie. elevator breakdowns, key replacements, access passes, etc

  • Be the key point of contact for Atlassian's ATX corporate apartments

  • Provide a warm and friendly welcome to all customers and visitors to the buildings

  • Provide assistance and direction according to the customer request

  • Assume responsibility for all Front of House areas ensuring they are presentable at all times

  • Provide direction and assistance with local amenities and services.

  • Order team catering and celebrations order

  • Adhere to building WHS policies and procedures including emergency procedures

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Reception at 303 Colorado Atlassian Reception

  • General Atlassian Workplace in support of WE Team

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Support a positive team environment with a friendly and can-do attitude

  • Ability to multitask while maintaining a positive outlook and proactive approach

  • Demonstrate the ability to make the customer feel that they are the only guest, and delivering an outstanding lasting impression

  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills required

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

  • Sound computer skills including willingness to learn Atlassian software products and tools

  • Ability to work with fellow colleagues and other wider team members

  • Build rapport and cooperative relationships with customers and visitors

  • Contribute to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace

 
  • Provide superior client service (85% weighting)

  • Contribute to the growth of the company (10% weighting)

  • Enhance own professional and personal skills (5% weighting)

  • Experience in customer service and/or Front of House

  • Solid communication skills written and verbal

  • Being able to multi-task and be solution oriented with creative problem solving

  • Solid computer skills and adaptability to new tools

  • First Aid/CPR desired or willingness to be trained
