Job Description

The Global Finance Program Manager/Director will be responsible for developing and managing the detailed AIM2020 Finance Plan for the finance transformation program, including Core Process & Technology, Finance Data & Reporting and Business Partnering/Finance Org Design work streams.  This individual will coach non-AIM Finance project managers and must have proven experience managing large projects, particularly those in the Finance arena.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborates and communicates with HR, IT and project managers and leaders to coordinate cross-work stream initiatives and activities
  • Defines and tracks project milestones and the critical path while reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan
  • Defines and manage project plans, tasks, schedules, scope, timelines and deliverables
  • Ensures projects issues and risks are identified, quantified, managed and tracked; ensures these items are appropriately communicated and escalated
  • Manages and tracks key assumptions and dependencies
  • Monitors and controls the quality management process, manages expectations and conducts milestone reviews
  • Understands the sensitivity of the business case to proposed and actual plan changes
  • Develops the deployment playbook and standard deployment plan; conducts deployment lessons learnt and appropriately adjusts the deployment process
  • Works closely with and provides oversight to the Deployment Managers


  • Extensive project management experience and track record of on-time, on-budget project delivery
  • Minimum 10+ years relevant business experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree and PMI/PRINCE2 certifications preferred
  • Fluent in English; additional languages preferred
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders at a variety of levels
  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project proficiency required
  • Strong problem-solving, resource management and time management skills
  • Understand various software development life cycle methodologies


This role will be based in Chicago and will require regular travel to the regional and global finance hubs and shared services centers.  Travel is expected to be about 25%
