Job Description

Job Duties 

  • Completes basic preventive & predictive maintenance tasks assigned including, but not limited to, painting, lighting repairs, minor pavement patching, HVAC filter replacement, plumbing repairs, door hardware replacement, furniture & décor assembly, and other work using standard tools, checklists, and procedures in a safe & effective manner.
  • Assist with set up & tear down of event equipment and marketing material.
  • Monitors property for any safety concerns; identifies & eliminates safety hazards on-site and informs Operations Manager immediately of any safety concerns that need addressed.
  • Maintain grounds, common areas, and vacancies to make sure all areas are clean, lit, maintained, & organized.

 

Qualifications

  • Ability to work in various weather conditions for limited periods of time, completing multiple tasks in a timely manner.
  • Good communication & teamwork skills; interacting in a positive and productive manner with staff, tenants, and customers.
  • Previous experience in facility/maintenance operations preferred.
  • Experience in the use of computers and programs such as Microsoft Office is a plus
  • May need to carry materials & equipment up to & exceeding 50 lbs. Must be able to physically walk, drive property, climb stairwells & ladders.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s license
  • Must be able to read, write, and understand basic instructions and drawings pertaining to maintenance tasks.
  • High School Diploma or GED required. Degree or certification from a 2 year college or technical school is preferred
