Job Description

Position Goals:

                        The position is expected to provide leadership on EH&S matters for the site team. The person is expected to lead implementation of the facility and focussed programmes on EH&S compliance at the Managed facility.

Responsibilities :

  • To lead implementation of EH&S initiatives in the site.
  • Drive the EH&S compliance programme in the managed facility.
  • Ensure Client and JLLM EHS requirements are full implemented and complied with.
  • Conduct Risk assessment and put controls
  • Incident management
  • Train Vendors and the site team in implementing EHS requirements
  • Guide operations teams and clients on any changed legislative requirements to enable them to plan for continued legal compliance.
  • Develop and implement process for tracking regulatory compliances across managed locations.
  • Coordinate with Facility Manger, Corporate EHS manager, ensure implementation of programmes.
  • Annual Compliance signoff

Required Skill set:

  • BE / B.Sc. with experience in EH&S management
  • Understanding of waste management, sewage treatment and water treatment plant operations
  • Good understanding of EH&S related regulations.
  • 4-5 yrs of experience in development, implement and maintaining EH&S management and audit with leading
  • Good written and spoken communication skills in Spanish and English.
  • Good coordination skills
  • Ability to multi-task and efficiently track implementation at remote locations through identified SPOC’s
  • Program management skills

  • Able to work with multiple teams
  • Set examples for other Managers.
  • Monitors personal performance measures and achieves results.

  • Conducts open, constructive and collaborative relations with the Clients, Jones Lang LaSalle personnel and relevant stakeholders

  • Possesses effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Listens effectively and communicates through actions and example.
