Job Description

  • Ensure team draws polylines in accordance with the selected space measurement protocols as communicated by client (BOMA, IFMA etc.).

  • Ensures team creates accurate polylines for gross floor areas and internal spaces (rooms).

  • Monitors team activity & volume to ensure seamless service delivery for manager deliverables.

  • Ensures team uploads/integrates drawing data into CAD/CAFM system.

  • Assists in driving the team to efficiently update and maintain pline drawings, space data and occupancy data based on move information and project information provided by multidisciplinary vendors for client deliverables.

  • Participate in Client and Internal project review meetings.

  • Adopting & utilizing client specific requirements, including particular software, systems, and processes.

  • Identify training opportunities for team and work with CAD/CAFM Manager to deliver those trainings.

  • Pull team metrics to assist in end of month client deliverables to CAD/CAFM Manager.

  • Assists in process development & implementation.

  • Assists with maintaining relationships with client, vendors and customers.

  • Provide guidance to team members on space measurement methodologies and best practices.

  • Understanding and recognizing aspects of multi discipline practices (Architecture, Furniture, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, and Fire)

  • Participate in testing of current and new iterations of client based software systems.


  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or related experience.

  • 3 – 5 years of professional experience related to CAFM/IWMS industry.


  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and CAFM/IWMS systems such as ARCHIBUS or Tririga, and related technologies.

  • Understanding of Facilities, Real Estate and Asset Management industry and practices in the areas of space planning, and occupancy.

  • A detailed understanding of the different space measurement techniques such as BOMA, IFMA etc. and where each is applicable.

  • Professional & solid customer service acumen with interpersonal relationship skills.

  • Confident Professionalism with Client Facing Solution Acumen.

  • Strong process documentation skills.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Strong and proven technical aptitude.

  • Willingness to take ownership of requests; prioritize and meet deadlines.

  • Can perform role with a proactive mindset.

  • Impeccable attention to detail and quality.

  • Understanding of automation through AutoLisp, scripting, VBA programming or related systems, preferred.

  • Hands-on understanding of AutoCAD particularly as it is applied in integrated CAFM solutions and the areas of best practice document control processes and standards, preferred.

  • Extensive knowledge, skills, and troubleshooting in AutoCAD

  • Ability to multi task and shift focus as needed to meet impromptu deadlines

  • Ability to follow guidance of manager on large scale projects
