Part-Time Virtual - Associate, Occupancy Planner (Spring & Summer 2019)

JLL is currently seeking college students for our Part-Time Associate, Occupancy Planner opportunity to support our growing Occupancy Planning team. The role offers the flexibility to work part-time during the school year within a virtual environment, and the possibility to be considered for full-time opportunities upon graduation.

Having the know-how

In this role, You’ll gain a new insight into the contribution of a space and occupancy planning program within the corporate real estate environment. With JLL, you’ll gain exposure to Fortune 500 companies and their portfolio of space, while enjoying the opportunity to grow your experience and hone your expertise on projects that have a real impact. You will prepare and update reports, plans and spreadsheets using to support the planning organization for its internal processes. Additionally, you will assist in space planning-related initiatives, develop test-fits using AutoCAD, create block and stack planning, programming and space studies.

Smart

Current Junior, Senior, or Masters Students with a major, or concentration in Architecture, Interior Design, Real Estate, Business, or related.

Dynamic and Highly Skilled

You’ll need to be dynamic and technologically savvy, proficiency with AutoCAD, or Revit is preferred. You will be successful if you have advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). You’ll be effective in you role by learning to ask the right questions to understand the underlying needs of our clients. You’ll discover how to be proactive and innovative with solutions for your stakeholders.

Organized, Open and Flexible

Excellent communication skills are important – both written and spoken – and we’ll expect you to work independently, multi-task, and manage your time to meet deadlines. You keep on top of things as you’ll often need to reorganize your time day to day, to deal with your team’s changing necessities and requests. An individual with strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work collaboratively with external and internal clients will successful in the role.
