Assistant Director, Leadership Development & Training Operations
What this job involves

Helping employees achieve their ambitions everyday in driving excellence in our operations for learning and leadership development including:

  • Scheduling and Training Registration
  • Monitor enrollments / recommend training cancellations/additions per demand
  • Using our LMS to schedule programs
  • Send participant welcomes/invites
  • Create reminders and ensuring our learners have incredible experiences
  • Conducting post-learning follow up
  • Produce our virtual learning rooms and ensuring our participants have fantastic experiences
  • Manage the event planning for executive and senior level leadership events including travel, hotel, and food & beverage
  • Ensure materials are in the right place at the right time.

Growing our leaders’ awareness and excitement about our leadership programs including:  

  • Creating communications across the business to ensure we have the right marketing in place
  • Growing relationships with key communications channels
  • Helping HR Business partners plan for their business and their succession pipeline
  • Setting up classrooms to create the best learning experience (in person sessions and virtual sessions)

Elevating the learning experience our employees experience every day:

  • Mapping out the training plans for our employees and leaders
  • Conducting gap analyses with our learners to see where the outages lie in learning
  • Prepare ad-hoc guides and resources to enhance the learning experience
  • Design, prepare, and order educational aids and materials when needed
  • Gather feedback from trainers and trainees after each training session and report out these metrics to key stakeholders
  • Manage and maintain in-house training facilities and equipment

Providing our workforce with the best digital experience possible:

  • Maintaining and enhancing our digital learning experience
  • Coaching and advising other learning professionals on best practice in the digital learning space
  • Curating and organization learning content that is easy to digest and consume
  • Mapping our talent management content for HR to easily consume and absorb
  • Audit the content for timeliness
  • Serve as part of a team that evolves the digital learning strategy

Growing our ability to hire and promote great people thru:

  • Helping us think about what makes for a great leader at JLL, and how do we assess for this at hire and throughout the employee lifecycle
  • Conducting leadership assessments and partnering with our HR associates to coach and administer

Serving as a great resource to HR by:

  • Making the impossible, possible through great change management approaches
  • Assessing and using robust data to measure effectiveness of talent programs
  • Identifying opportunities in talent management to achieve the organization's business goals and objectives

  • Demonstrated experience as a detail oriented HR Leader with strong project management and exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail while managing several complex deliverables across multiple stakeholders
  • Demonstrated understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and learning evaluation
  • Skilled in advanced administrator capabilities within learning management systems and technologies (Cornerstone on Demand)
  • Proven experience in digital learning and various trending learning advances
  • A track record and reputation as a trusted advisor and someone who can assess learning needs and deliver solutions which align with the strategic direction of the organization
  • Proven track record of thriving in a fast-paced HR function, demonstrating strong HR leadership on an international scale, and the ability to implement a People Strategy
  • Experience working side by side with leadership on critical organizational projects, and/or embedded in the business serving in a broad HR role
  • Strong analytics, business, and financial acumen (e.g., understand P&L and impacts of financial statements on business operations)
  • Deep project and change management skills, with the ability to act as a change agent and enable the business to manage through change
  • Experience leading and participating in large scale HR and organizational transformations
  • Learning agility, adaptability, flexibility of approach, comfortability with ambiguity, and the ability to upskill quickly
  • Ability to lead, coach and advise leadership to empower employees and builds high-performing teams
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively to identify and resolve with standard solutions and new approaches as needed
