Performance Optimization Lead-

The Performance Optimization Lead (POL) will be responsible for the overall performance for our corporate website that drive demand, support content marketing initiatives, and optimize conversion rates. The POL ensures the functionality and efficiency of web infrastructure, support development of an attribution model, gather appropriate, and assist in implementing online technologies He/she must have a strong understanding and hands-on experience with A/B & MVT testing, Website Analytics and all the tactics to arrive to a final experience that drives performance. He/she possesses an eye for detail and a mind that is both analytical and creative. The POL takes a hypothesis-driven, data-centric approach with digital to improve the metrics that matter most to clients.

Key competencies and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the framework and implementation of Search Engine Optimization strategy (inclusive of technical/back-end SEO, and content SEO best practices)
  • Responsible for the continuous evolution of the firm’s overall performance and measurement strategy, in coordination with all regional, country-level, and service line performance and analytics leads
  • Create, manage and execute website optimization strategies - planning, ideation, testing, optimization, reporting, and forecasting
  • Lead website optimization efforts across multifunctional teams to develop innovative product offerings that achieve brand goals and business objectives
  • Oversee the data reporting suite, visualizations and communications to relevant marketers
  • Analyze performance data, metrics, to develop insights and then make decisions based on the analysis and insights
  • Optimize user journey, taking action on key metrics and KPIs, through continuous website testing and user experience improvements
  • Provide data based insights delivered to leadership, governance committees and contingent digital marketing colleagues
  • Collaborate with all agency client delivery teams such as agency account management, paid media, creative, web services, business intelligence and analytics, operations and executive team.
  • Provide the performance results to internal agency stake holders or clients directly and recommend next steps.
  • Build hypotheses to champion a data-driven, test and learn approach to optimizing user experiences throughout the funnel
  • Own and manage the campaign delivery roadmap of optimization and personalization initiatives, ensuring that they’re driving value, innovation and cross-channel alignment with the wider business

Key analytics-driven success metrics:

  • Off-platform search ranking for high-priority owned/branded terms and queries, and industry/client interest terms and queries
  • Maintenance and increase of the broad swath of metrics included in overall firm measurement strategy, including but not limited to:
    • Site traffic
    • Bounce rate
    • Page views
    • Time on site
    • Site conversions

Key firm-wide success metrics:

  • Increased usage of JLL tools and platforms
  • Increased users of JLL tools and platforms


  • 7+ years of experience in digital marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Statistics or
  • Deep understanding of:
    • Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
    • Adobe Analytics
    • Global AEM MSM best practices
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience of test platforms (e.g. Optimizely, WVO, Adobe Target, Unbounce, etc.)
  • Experience creating and managing a traffic acquisition strategy
  • Experience serving a large user base with diverse analytics and reporting needs
  • Prior experience in a large multi-national company
  • Comfort with working across time zones, regions, and cultures
  • Excellent communications skills across all modes: written, verbal, in-person and virtual presentation
  • Proven ability to work across a cross-functional team, inclusive of skill and geography
  • Motivation to be a self-starter and be able to hit the ground running
  •  A ‘can-do’ attitude and passion for online marketing
  • Excellent PC skills: highly skilled with Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word
  • Ability to work independently as an important member of a team
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects with great attention to detail
  • Self-starter with a positive personality, highly-energized and creative thinker
  • Ability to stay on task and thrive in a dynamic and constantly changing environment
