Job Description

To provide development and capital markets advice to a wide range of both public and private sector clients, working within a small team of property professionals concentrating on London and the South-East, based in JLL’s Warwick Street offices.  This is a developmental role and training will be provided for the right candidate.

This role is an ideal opportunity for a Senior Surveyor/Associate with a good command of commercial/residential property and strong financial analysis skills are essential requirements together with excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and a client facing ability. 

The successful candidate will work on a wide range of projects for both landowners and developers. The tasks range from consulting assignments understanding highest and best use to sales and purchases of development properties often in conjunction with other investment, agency and residential colleagues.

The team is currently advising on a number of high profile development schemes across in London, Oxford and Cambridge and is acting on sites across the south-east. Network Rail, TfL, HMCTS and the private sector developer community are key clients.


  • MRICS or equivalent qualification
  • A proven track record of success
  • Good problem solving and analytical ability
  • Strong financial appraisal and report writing skills are essential
  • Ability to use Argus Developer and Investor and Excel
  • Previous experience with development projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills


  • The successful candidate will have responsibility for the implementation and management of projects.
  • A key part of the role is ensuring delivery of service to our clients, and managing client relationships.
  • The role includes a requirement to develop new business generation

  • Entrepreneurial characteristics and flexible approach to working on multiple projects
  • Ideally will have experienced public-sector procurement
